With dozens of outlets in Greater Cairo, this is Egypt's version of Walmart. The new Adly Street branch is ritzier and better stocked than most, with a large selection of local and imported goods. Its air conditioned, five-story building is amply and attentively staffed, and prices are geared towards middle-class Egyptians. Other branches vary in service and selection, the smaller ones being an outright disgrace.
