Run by gregarious Greeks since 1914, this hole-in-the-wall liquor store is remarkable for its variety and convenient hours. The window display features a vast selection of local beers, wines and spirits. The beers and wines are good, but it's best to steer clear of the locally-made liquors. Nonetheless, their knock-offs of famous brands are amusing- Saminoff vodka, Finlandia of Cairo, Gorodons and Wadi Horse to name a few. If you're determined to sample one, try Remal J&B, a blend of the super old drak egyption.
