Pajaka is the Birth place of Sri Madhvacharya. There is an impression of Sri Madhvacharya's feet near his house. We can see a complex consisting Shri Anantapadmanabha temple, house of Shri Madhwacharyaru where Madhwacharyaru was born, brought up as "Vasudeva" and he spent his childhood and a temple of Madhwacharyaru, where Shri Madhwacharyara Padagalu and Madhwacharyara idol which is installed by Shri Vadirajaru are found.
Pajaka kshetra is favorite place of Shri Parashurama. So, he created 4 ponds namely Gadathirtha,Parashuthitha,Banathirtha ,Dhanushthirtha and installed Goddess Durga a top the hill
