About

Referred to as the 'intelligent building', this avant garde, multipurpose complex is both breathtaking as it is practical. With a capacity to hold up to 17 000 spectators and a car park for 5000 vehicles, the Palau Sant Jordi is a versatile, modern, one of a kind stadium, illustrating Barcelona's ability for forward thinking. Built in 1990, the Palau Sant Jordi was one of the main venues used during the 1992 Summer Olympics and was praised for its flexibility and adaptability. Today it is used for sporting events, festivals and concerts and is just a stones throw from Placa Espanya, thus centrally located and easily accessible by foot.
