About

A proverbial green lung in the outlying suburbs of Paris, Parc de Saint-Cloud spreads out over 186 hectares (460 acres) of land. A perfect place to enjoy a day out with family, the park's environs rejuvenates the self. Beautiful fountains, long-forgotten sculptures ad statues dot the perimeter of the park. The Terrasse des Orangers is an orange orchard that gives a beautiful view of the city. A piece of history is ensconced within the park's gardens and forests, in the form of the ruins of the Château de Saint-Cloud. French aristocrats and rulers resided here for three centuries before it was destroyed by fire. The park is also the venue for the popular annual two-day concert "Rock en Seine." Call for park opening hours.
