For more than 500 years, the Madini family have been parfumeurs d'Orientale of note, and the tradition is continuing as strong as ever. Sidi Madini oversees two shops in Tangier that boast reproductions of more than 115 brands and styles including Allure, Coco Chanel, Jazz, and Opium. Bottles (50ml) sell for 50dh ($6.25/£3.15). Also available is a wide selection of essential oils (6ml for 40dh/$5/£2.50). Open Monday to Thursday and Saturday 10am to 1pm and 4 to 9pm; Friday and Saturday 4 to 9pm.
