Pizzeria Vulcania

Riva Nazario Sauro, 4 Cuisines: Italian

About

It is hard to say what this is. A pizzeria, a fish restaurant, a place to enjoy good meat dishes. Well Vulcania is all of these. The surroundings are not bad with space for 60, as well as a large open air space near to the sea but also near to a busy road which you soon get used to. To tell you the truth, the impression that you get from this restaurant is of a modest place for hungry tourists in search of a quick meal. But this is a big mistake. Because in actual fact, Vulcania, may not have a real gastronomic identity, but it does offer some really excellent cooking. Along the Trieste shores, opposite the maritime station and not far from the Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, you will find this restaurant offering a international and mediterranean menu including real neopolitan pizzas. If you are on a budget you can choose from dozens of labels including the Collio products, a hilly area of the Gorizia province, well-known for its vines.
