The Plaza Mövenpick is situated near the city's opera house and the Stadtelhofen train station. The decor is stylish and modern and the waiters are extremely friendly. You enter the restaurant via glass doors. The front has been set up as a classic cafe and you can order cafe latte, tea and the like and read a paper. The back of the restaurant is more elegant. White tablecloths cover the tables and the room is light and airy. Seats are covered in leather but despite the trendy interior, this is not a pretentious restaurant; everyone is meant to feel comfortable here. The menu includes a number of set menus with dishes such as 'Geschnetzeltes' and even a Thai dish. There is also a salad bar. Special orders are not accepted but the wine list makes up for this.
