It's hard to stand out in a city saturated with pasta and sushi places, but the owners of this homely little trattoria near the picturesque Wilanow Palace bet on simplicity, authentic cuisine and a leafy, out-of-center location to gain a steadfast neighborhood following. The interior is of the rustic Mediterranean variety, with layered stone walls, blond-wood tables, painted bar counter and glass chandeliers that are warm and welcoming. So too is the diverse selection of food offerings, from the familiar pizza-and-pasta variations to more adventurous creations such as saltimbocca (veal with sage and Parma ham) and lamb chops in raspberry and mint sauce.
