Restaurante Vegetariano Terra

R. da Palmeira 15 Cuisines: Vegetarian

About

Terra is a vegetarian restaurant located in a XVIII century building at Princípe Real, Lisboa and it is side by side with Jardim do Princípe Real and close to Bairro Alto. The place has an amazing and relaxing atmosphere with its old school hand made chestnut wood carpentery furniture, handicraft pieces from all over the world and a brilliant watercolour painting representing its outdoors terrace by John O'Connor. At this beautiful dining place you may choose where would you sit back and enjoy your veggie meal amongst four different spaces, three indoors and one outdoors: Sala do Buda Azul (Blue Buda Room) is the bigger one, Sala das Gravuras Japonesas (Japanese Engravings Room) is the medium one, Sala do Jardim (Garden Room) is the smaller yet cosier one and its magical outdoors terrace under the shade of its centenarian trees with its beautiful and romantic XVIII century water fountain. After the space choice you may start to indulge yourself with the best portuguese/ vegetarian fusion cuisine such as sweet potatoe bean stew, Alentejo style chestnuts, Bulhão Pato style mushrooms and one of the house specialties - the magnificent and refreshing melon soup - and you may also enjoy its charming buffet. Terra is open for dinner from Tuesday to Friday, from 07h30 pm to midnight and for lunch (from 12h30 pm to 03h00 pm) and dinner on saturdays, sundays and holydays. It closes on mondays. Another Lisboa treat to beautiful, relaxing, culturally distinct and delicious places lovers.
