The work of the Proscenium Theatre, operating by the Anna and Tadeusz Smolicki's Theatre Gallery, was inaugurated on 19th December, 1998 with the premiere performance of the Metamorphoses staged by the Pijana Sypialnia [literally: Drunk Bedroom] Theatre directed by Ziuta Zającówna.The repertoire includes Manifesto according to S. I. Witkiewicz, Biesiada z pieśniami Bellmana (A Feast with Bellman's Songs) based on works by Carl Michael Bellman, Osmędeusze by Miron Białoszewski, Metamorphoses by the Pijana Sypialnia Theatre based on the works of Tytus Czyżewski, Stanisław Młodożeniec, and Anatol Stern, Sala P (Hall P) by K. Frosenson, Kabaret DOTACJA (DONATION Cabaret) based on texts by E. Lachnit, and Seans spirytystyczny (Spiritualist Session,) a monodrama based on texts by S. I. Witkiewicz and B. Malinowski.
