Rolling Restaurant of TV Tower

1 Taiping Shan Lu Cuisines: Chinese, Asian

About

It is best not to forget your wallet or purse in the car when dining here for it can be a long haul to the parking lot. Situated more than 200 meters in the sky atop Qingdao's TV Tower, the largest steel tower in China, this restaurant offers the kind of views normally only enjoyed by window washers and sure footed mountain goats. The buffet menu leans heavily towards Hui cuisine, meaning diners can expect a large offering of lamb, beef and grilled mutton dishes. Seating is for 232, so unless it is a huge holiday weekend walk-ins, or in this case, elevator-rider-walk-ins, can usually snare a table without a wait.
