Royal Birkdale is one of England's finest golf clubs and has been voted the number one course the entire country. Additionally, the course has been rated among the top golf courses in the entire world. The Royal Birkdale is situated on the same stretch of coastline as fellow Open Championship venues Royal Lytham St Annes and Royal Liverpool. Over the years the course has played host to two Ryder Cups, the Walker and Curtis Cups and nine Open Championships.
