About

At the top of Paholyothin Road is the Royal Thai Air Force Museum. For anyone even vaguely interested in aviation it's a gem that is quietly tucked away in the north of Bangkok. Admission is free and you're allowed to walk around unhindered to view the collection of classic aircraft that includes a Spitfire, the only remaining Hawk 3 bi-plane anywhere, an F-5 E and the very first Thai designed and built aircraft. One of the hangers is dedicated to air force uniforms, guns, radar and simulators. An ideal place to waste an hour before flying out.
