Designed by Coore/Crenshaw.Saying that Sand Hills Golf Club is remote is about the same as saying Bill Gates is rich.  Located in a town with a population of about 300 Sand Hills is just about as remote as they come and there is no better place for a golfer to "get off the grid" for a few days.  With its massive blowout style bunkers, rolling terrain and unkempt native fescue grasses, the golf course is to many of its highly manicured counterparts what the hippie entrepreneurs of silicon valley were to the traditional businessmen of the early 1970s . . . an unconventional exterior shell with something brilliant underneath.
