Saramati Peak, Kiphire: Saramati Peak is the highest peak in Nagaland which is about 3,841 meters above sea level. It is located very close to Kiphire town. The peak is snow clad throughout winter and looks wonderful. Post winter i.e. after February the snow melts into the Likimro River. The mountain is ideally suited for trekking and scaling from October to April. Camping at the mountain base is another great adventure that visitors can venture into. Photography is something one can never miss here. The Saramati mountain range has the thickest and biggest spread of virgin forest in Nagaland.
