Sariun fort

The Sariun Fort, though in ruins, stands unabashedly on the eastern part of the Tiun mountain range, at an elevation of about 1,500m above mean sea level.  It is one of the highlights of the tourist attractions in Bilaspur, situated about 58 kilometres from the township. This fort has a great historical significance. It served as a strong and resilient entity in the battle between the old State of Bilaspur and Kangra, during the small reign of Mohan Chand.
