Ko Lanta offers terrific scuba diving. Some of the dive sites are world class and compete with the nearby Similan islands . There are no dive sites directly on Ko Lanta. You will have to take the boat to reach other nearby islands.
The best and most world famous dive sites are Hin Daeng and Hin Muang . They are both listed among the best dive spots in Thailand and in the world. Hin Daeng is famous for its fantastic marine life on a steep wall and Hin Muang for the superb violet coral.
