About

"Seagrove" under the Personal supervision of its proprietor Marie and her husband Bill provides the visitor with a very warm welcome. One of a row of secluded Georgian style Houses and facing a large landscaped green area in a quiet Cul-De-Sec, yet it is centrally located. After a hearty Irish Breakfast where all meats are grilled to reduce fat content, visitors may stroll to either the City Centre or to Salthill with its famous Promenade. Dominating the City Centre is the 13th century Church of St.Nicholas while closer is Lynch's Castle with its legendary window. A favourite with visitors is the so called "Latin Quarter". Further on is Shop Street with its fine shops and street buskers leading on to the recently renovated Eyre Square. A pathway from the Spanish Arch leads by the banks of the River Corrib to the Salmon Weir Bridge with its Salmon Fisheries. Close by is the Cathedral-well worth a visit."Seagrove" is also an ideal base for touring the Burren with its inspiring Cliffs of Moher, the beautiful Connemara or the magical Aran Islands.
