The Shamrock is an elegant fusion of traditional Irish features and more modern European elements. The bar is a popular meeting place for young and old, and live bands also appear regularly, with an in-house DJ filling any gaps in the line-up. The back part of the pub contains several tables, where customers can sit and have a chat in more sedate surroundings. Besides the usual selection of (Irish & Austrian) drinks, the Shamrock serves up a fine selection of pizza and sandwiches. The place is usually crowded on weekends, special nights and during game nights when locals cheer their favorite team and chat over the finer points of the game over chilled beers.
