The ultra stylish heritage hotel Raj Palace has kept its historicity intact. An effort has been made to give their guests the best of both worlds. Shikarbadi is the hotel's smart bar that comprises an enclosed pavilion and also extends to the passage outside. So if you'd rather sit outside, you can simply move to the open area and enjoy your drink there. The bar has a warm and relaxed feel and there is a wide array of spirits and liquors and the choicest of wines (from 26 countries), champagnes, beer, cocktails (Planter's Punch, Bloody Mary and mojitos are extremely popular). The accompanying snacks are excellent and the choice quite good - they recommend Phaldhari Kebabs and Aloo Akhrot ki Tikki for vegetarians and Boti Kebab and Tandoori Chicken for non-vegetarians, among other options. The interiors of Shikarbadi are full of royal replicas like tiger skins, horns, various arms and rare artefacts, old paintings and period furniture that help to create a dramatic old-world charm.
