This well-managed bookstore caters to the local and tourist clientele its central location attracts plenty of customers. Egyptians head to the back for its selection of Arabic political, cultural and religious books. Foreigners learning Arabic can find dictionaries, grammar books and simple readers, including Arabian Nights. For English, head upstairs or to the left. Management has scaled down the guidebook section, but enlarged the Egyptology shelf.
