Sneem International Folklore & Storytelling Festival is a weekend of concerts, informal performances, workshops, walks and lectures themed on storytelling and folklore for all ages. Aimed at exploring the local traditions and introducing performers from other backgrounds, the festival also has the objective of giving new storytellers a chance to tell their tales.This festival features storytellers and musicians from Ireland, the UK and the USA. Events are held across several locations (including local hostelries) in this charming, colourful village set amongst the beautiful mountains on the Ring of Kerry.
