About

The Jubilee Course plays 6,742 yards from the medal tees and has two other sets of tees, which play up to 5,956 yards. The course is extremely popular for tournaments and some of the most prestigious in Scotland are held there.
The greens are massive, the bunkering defines penal and the fairways are ultra-thin. Out of bounds comes into play on more than half the holes and several tee shots are blind. When all is said and done, Jubilee is one of the most difficult tests of golf in Fife. The Course was laid out in 1897 by John Angus, who was paid less than 180 pounds to turn the sliver of land between The New Course and the sea into a 12-hole links. The name of the course came to be when in less than two months Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee was hosted there.
