Church of Sv. Martin in Martin Hill is the most important monument of first category in this area. The church dates from 1209 year. Built in the baroque style of Gothic, now in ruins, and ongoing archaeological excavations and actions possible in revitalization of cultural and sacred object. In front of st. Martin in Martin Hill in Dugo Selo, it was placed a wooden sculpture of St. Martin, the work of sculptor Joseph Cikač. St. Martin is the patron of the parish, town, vineyard and winery. An identical statue in the smaller size was declared as souvenir of town. The oldest surviving document that mentions this church and parish of St. Martin, is a known list of parishes in the Diocese of Zagreb in 1334th. It is said that this parish and the church is in the possession of the Crusader knights (the monks of St. John).
