Stoops Guesthouse blends modern facilities with traditional architecture. Run by the Mulhall family, all visitors are warmly welcomed. The guesthouse is situated within walking distance of Coolattin village and Coolattin’s historic golf course. A modern, beautifully constructed three star guesthouse, Stoops facilities within the guesthouse include a large dining area for breakfast and a communal lounge area for reading, TV and general relaxation. In the bedrooms, guests have a choice of TV, radio and coffee/tea making facilities. All rooms benefit from modern full ensuite facilities set within a clean minimal design. There is a broad selection of room types to suit most requirements. King size beds are standard in all rooms which can be re–arranged on request to become a family room, a single room, a triple room or a twin room. A room for the disabled is located on the ground floor. All eight guest bedrooms are generous in size and have been designed to a high standard throughout. Breakfast is a buffet choice of fresh juices and cereals, full hearty Irish breakfast or continental style breakfast. All served with tea or coffee and toast. Vegetarian options are also available. Lunch and evening meals can be provided by visiting Parkview Restaurant located in the quaint little village of Shillelagh less than three kilometres down the road; this restaurant is renowned for its home cooking. Patrons can also pop next door for drinks in Parkview House. Stoops Guesthouse is ideally suited for those wishing to play golf at Coollattin golf club or those involved in local business and enterprise. Stoops is also ideally situated for tourists, where it provides central access to the garden of Ireland, Dublin and the sunny South East. Stoops is also ideally situated for those wishing to walk the Wicklow Way and is only a few kilometres from the famous trail. Transport and packed lunches can be arranged as well as luggage transfer.
