Studio Donegal is a hand weaving and manufacturing business committed to preserving and promoting the original hand weaving skills passed down from generation to generation. The workshop is located in the remote mountainous region of south west County Donegal in an area called Kilcar.The studio's cloths are skillfully woven by weavers in the workshop who create unique clothing for male and female as well as bedspreads, wraps and a variety of accessories. Each piece is carefully crafted and is a reflection of the dramatic environment that it is created within. The process of clothes emerging on the loom and traditional Donegal yarns being spun on the spinning mule are visible for visitors to watch. Studio Donegal is an ideal cultural stop off on the way to Slieve League. The studio is equipped with parking and toilet facilities.
