In a typical Roman square hidden in the middle of a maze of streets just off Capitol Hill, La Taverna degli Amici features dishes of the Roman tradition with a modern touch. The cuisine offers plenty of pasta options: the classic cheese and pepper, amatriciana, gricia, carbonara, and some novelties such as gnocchi with artichokes and bacon. Other menu highlights are grilled meat and fish. They offer a carefully selected list of Italian wines.
