About

Believed to be the oldest theatre in Italy, Teatro della Pergola opened in 1656 as a private theatre for the grand dukes. Consisting of two halls, the Main Hall and the Saloncino, both have been impeccably restored and currently host concerts, plays and special events. The smaller 400 seat hall, Saloncino, was formerly a ballroom and is renowned for its incredible acoustics and is a favorite of vocalists due to its amazing sound.
