About

The Constant Knitter yarn shop, voted one of the twelve best shops in Ireland by The Irish Times and its readers, is based on Francis Street in the heart of the antiques quarter of Dublin City, which in turn, is in the heart of the historic Liberties area. This is a very well stocked yarn shop with a wide range of brands, including some Irish yarns such as Studio Donegal and Cushendale. We also have a big range of notions and buttons and we stock the HiyaHiya brand of knitting needles. There is a charming and very bright studio over the shop where we run lots of social and craft events. We run classes and workshops such as knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, Irish crochet lace, wet felting and whatever else takes our fancy. During the summer months, we are also running children's craft classes. Get in touch if you have a child or or a group of children who would like to learn some new craft. Details of our classes and workshops are on our website and Facebook page.We can also organise group events, just let us know what you want and we will work with you! The Cross Gallery has just opened a small but perfectly formed café just across the road from the shop, called Café Cross where you will be made very welcome. We have a knitting group on Monday evenings at about 5.30 till 8pm, where you can knit and chat and have tea! For opening times, etc, please see our website.
