The Railway Heritage Park cum Museum at Tinsukia has been set up at the confluence of two historic Railway systems of North eastern India. Namely the Dibru Sadiya Railway and the Assam Bengal Railway, which were linked at Tinsukia City on 1st March 1903. The Museum has adopted DSR & ABR as its prime themes. in addition, it also contains a small gallery dedicated to Daijeeling Himalayan Railway, which is a World Heritage site declared by UNESCO.
