The Yeats Winter School is designed as an interlude, which allows the visitor the opportunity to learn more about W.B. Yeats and his family against the backdrop of the places which inspired him. Events include poetry readings, a tour of the Yeats Country and lectures including Declan Kiberd speaking on 'Early Yeats: The High Cost of Dreaming' and Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin on 'Yeats the Liar'. An evening gathering will take place for participants to meet informally for poetry, music, story telling and shared experiences of literature. Bring your instruments and favourite pieces to share!
