Triona Design is a family run business that caters for visitors wishing to learn the art of hand weaving or to pick up a piece of authentic Irish tweed. Based in Ardara, County Donegal, The Donegal Tweed Centre tweed is still woven with the same traditional skills that have been used for centuries. The workshop employs three full-time weavers and a selection of full-time and seasonal staff to ensure that all aspects of their clients visit is covered. As well as manufacturing fine Donegal tweed and wool garments, visitors can also learn the fine art of hand weaving tweed.
