Ulster Flying Club offer a service to the public where one can take air experience flights, flying lessons to PPL, IMC and Night Ratings, to small JARFCL syllabus. One can also hire an aircraft from a fleet of new aircraft (C-172). We also operate a Pooley's flying shop on the premises with a mail order facility available. 3 new runways available to the flying visitor.The airport is ideally situated to use as a base to explore the Mourne Mountains and the beautiful Antrim coastline from the air. Go even further and visit the Scottish Islands and even the West of Ireland. The Isle of Man is only 30 minutes flying time.Trial flights: 4-seater plane, i.e. pilot plus 3 passengers: 30mins £99, 45mins £152, 60mins £189 90Min Flights over the Antrim Coast £278. Planes are Cessna C172s and PA28’s Skyhawks – all are 2003 models. There are ramps for easy access to runways and also a disabled toilet facility.
