Ultra Ant Climbing Wall

Týnská 17

About

The smallest and friendliest of the three climbing walls in Prague. Located a stone's throw from the Tyn Church, it's also the most accessible. Three sides of a small gymnasium (not much bigger than a basketball court) are filled with overhangs which look imposing, but many of the holds when tried are enormous. That said, it's not really a place for beginners; only one wall is not inclined beyond the vertical. Walls hit the ceiling at fifteen metres and it is possible to climb with ropes or solo. Bolts with 'In Situ' extenders abound as do half-metre-thick crash mats. When five parties are climbing with ropes, little room is left for anything but soloing.
