Joan Howells, based in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire has been collecting and restoring Victorian and Edwardian quilts and blankets for most of her adult life and now offers them for sale for others to enjoy. They are all originally Wales-made and most are antique. They come in single, double and kingsize, checks, stripes and patterned, with either bound or fringed ends, some are double seamed made prior to 1900 when looms were narrow. We also have Victorian and Edwardian et al christening gowns, baby clothes, ladies chemises, cotton nightgowns and cases, sheets, sheet shams, valances, pillowcases, white Marcella and lawn cotton bed covers, bolster cases, including other small items such as collars and accessories. Quilts appear in Country Living and Homes & Gardens magazines periodically.
