The Wexford Half Marathon & 10K has proven itself over the years as Ireland's record breaking course. In 2012, a Guinness World Record was broken in retro running and many individuals achieve their personal best times here. In 2013, 73% of the half-marathon runners achieved their Personal Best; and 64% of the 10K runners got their PB! Last year, 1,300 people enjoyed the scenic and fast course. The half marathon participants run through the iconic gardens of Johnstown Castle. Half marathon also has pacers catering for 1.30/ 1.45 / 2 hrs. Wexford has proven itself a must do race for quality, friendliness and atmosphere. Parking is easy and the course has plenty of variety starting in the town and taking you around surrounding countryside. Entry includes a tech top, water bottles, a medal and a soup & roll post-race.
