Gurudwara Badshahi Bagh commemorates the visit of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Tenth Guru, who visited this place around 1670 during one of his excursions to Lakhnaur. An incident took place at the spot in Ambala City where Badshahi Bagh Gurudwara stands today which reflects the spirit of Sikhism. The incident immortalises the victory of Guru Gobind Singh's sparrows over a hawk.
