Ballybunion Surf School is based on Ballybunion's South beach, recognised as one of North Kerry's best surf spots for the last 20 years. Its picturesque location and world-class surf breaks insure your trip to Ballybunion will be one you will never forget. Surf lessons are run from their beach café where you can enjoy a hot drink and snack after your lesson and avail of their changing facilities. Surf lessons at Ballybunion Surf School are geared to the Irish Surf Association structured classes and are run by fully qualified surf instructors and beach lifeguards. All their staff are regularly trained in child protection and first aid.Their aim at Ballybunion Surf School is not only to teach kids how to surf but also to promote water awareness and a clear understanding of water safety. They insure a safe ratio of one instructor to eight students.They provide lessons for total beginners to intermediate level. They also supply boards and wetsuits for private and individual hire.
