The Comeragh Bogtrot 2014 is an annual crossing of the Comeragh Mountains from east to west, with a number of start points, and walk distances to suit all levels of fitness. The A Grade Walk covers 28km, reaches a height of 8652m and takes approximately 8 hours to complete. This walk is for self-navigating walkers only as a very high level of fitness and mountain skills is required. The B+ Grade Walk is a 22km distance, reaching a height of 686m. This takes approximately 7 hours to complete and is recommended only for self-navigating walkers as a very high level of fitness and mountain skills is required. The second B+ Grade Walk covers 17km, reaches a height of 580m and takes approximately 7 hours. This walk will be led by local walking club and a high level of fitness is required. The C Grade Walk/Family Walk is a new 10km walk being introduced for 2014. See website for more details.
