Famous Ape a city center boutique, located just behind the Confederation Center, is a local favorite thanks to its somewhat off-the-wall mix of fashion, weird gadgets and hip furniture. It's a nice alternative to the more main stream shops that surround it near the Rue Basses. At Famous Ape, there is an innovative mix of street wear clothing brands, hats, and a weird and wonderful collection of odd accessories and interior design objects, everything from cheeky match boxes to trays which look like giant pizzas, naughty birthday cards and a cool collection of chill out and nu-soul compilations. The theme of the shop is amusing and playful with a focus on fresh and quirky design.
