About

Every year at the beginning of May the streets of Oslo are taken over by enthusiastic female runners of all ages. The event is a five-kilometer street race founded by Norway's world-famous marathon runner and sports icon, Grete Waitz. However, the majority of runners tend to be much more concerned with having a fun day out than running as fast as possible! Many companies see this as a good opportunity for team building and women travel from all parts of the country to participate in the race.
