Delphi is one of the most scenic regions in Greece. It is situated on the slopes of Mount Parnassos and is the site of the world-famous oracle and sanctuary dedicated to the god Apollo. The splendid architecture of the temples, the theatre and the stadium along with a spectacular view of the valley and the sea below are one-of-a-kind. On the way to Delphi you will pass through the picturesque village of Arachova (a popular winter weekend hangout for Athenians). At Delphi you will visit the ancient sanctuary of Apollo, proceed through the sacred way to the Athenian treasury, the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring and of course to the museum which houses unique archeological treasures including the bronze Charioteer. This tour is offered daily from April to end October and every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from November to March. The bus departs from the Amalia Hotel in Syntagma in the morning. It can be booked through your hotel reception or at any travel agency in Athens.
