Hainstraße

Hainstrasse

About

It's well worth taking a stroll down Hainstraße, one of Leipzig's most historic streets. Hainstraße has undergone a much needed face-lift over the past few years, and once again exudes its old-world charm. The alluring mixture of first-class shopping facilities (with popular stores like Horten and H&M) and historic references (in 1841, the great German author Theodor Fontane worked as a chemist in house number nine) has made this a popular destination with both tourists and locals. It can become a real crush here in summer.
