One of Geneva's oldest chocolate shops, La Bonbonnière has been making delicious 100 percent pure cocoa butter homemade chocolates since 1921. There are over 50 varieties of truffles, including some with champagne, kirsch or rum; their two specialties are squares of chocolate known as pavés de Genève (cobblestones of Geneva) and crystallized fruit. Come in winter to taste its delicate fresh cream-filled chocolates, its most popular winter season delicacy. La Bonbonnière also has a wide selection of attractive fabric-covered gift boxes, to add some aesthetics to the outside of your already tasteful gift.
