The Ngee Ann Cultural Centre was set up in the distinctive Teochew Building on Tank Roas in 1998 to promote awarenness Chinese culture, particularly Teochew heritage. To this day, the centre has been active in protraying the culture and traditions of the Teochews through the medium of visual and perfroming arts.
