About

Inspired by New York's 1929 Chanin Building, Parkview Square is designed in Art-Deco style, its exteriors a grand mix of granite, lacquer, bronze and glass. Near Bugis Junction and cultural hotspot Arab Street, Parkview Square was designed by American consultant James Adams in collaboration with DP Architects of Singapore.

As an exterior decoration, Parkview Square is 'guarded' by gargoyle statues and eight gigantic fibreglass statues of men, each holding a ball of light. Certainly a sight to behold, locals have even dubbed Parkview Square 'Gotham City' after popular comic series Batman. On your way to Kampong Glam, visit the towering structure of Parkview Square and have an encounter that's out of a comic book, right here in Singapore.
