The Pepperoni is just outside the walls and reached from Via Castiglione, then close on a mile towards the hills outside the city. The menu is all Emilio Romagna home cooking. Rustic, friendly and welcoming in atmosphere, it seats about 100. The specialties are homemade pasta Garganelli, Gnocchi, Strozzapreti, Tagliatelle, Tortellini e Tortelloni; pizzas are cooked in a wood burning oven. You can also enjoy the piadina made from only flour, water, lard and salt and served with a variety of fillings: cold meats, salad, cheeses, even Nutella!.
