Knossos is the very first Cretan restaurant in Finland, located the the Koskikesus. Here you not only enjoy Cretan food but also receive information on the background and history of Cretan cuisine. The menu includes a large variety of Cretan and Greek delicacies. Moussaka, lamb chops à la Mountain Ida and Horiátiki, the big Greek salad, are all there. Price levels are moderate. Knossos is centrally situated at Koskikeskus shopping centre right in the centre of Tampere. There is a beautiful view from the restaurant over Laukontori market square and lake Pyhäjärvi, especially during the summer when the outdoor terrace is open. The place is open on Sundays from 2p onwards.
