Tulip

Gan Ha Melech

About

Set in a modern, glass pavilion on a cliff overlooking the sea at the far end of Ha-Atzma'ut Square, this restaurant serves the most cosmopolitan menu in town. Choices range from salads and stylish pastas to omelets and sandwiches; there's even a great Thai mushroom soup. More expensive items include herbed fish; there are business lunch specials from noon to 4pm and a romantic dinner for two prix fixe with fish, side dishes, and wine for NIS 200 ($50/£25). A selection of lavish pastries and cakes makes this a good stop for coffee and dessert.
